Our Coronavirus Response
At Putnam Swimming Pool Service Inc., the health, safety, and well being of our customers and employees is paramount.
According to the Center for Disease Control, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfecting (e.g. chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

Please remember that proper care and maintenance of your swimming pool is imperative to control water quality and prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
In light of recent events regarding the Coronavirus, we are taking the following precautions for our customers and employees:
- The office and warehouse are cleaned several times a day with a recommended chlorine bleach solution disinfectant.
- All employees wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water throughout the day.
- Our trucks are equipped with disinfectant and gloves for our employees and for the safety of our customers.
- We have encouraged any team members that feel ill to stay home and follow recommended precautionary measures.
- Putnam Swimming Pool Service practices social distancing, and minimal contact within the office and warehouse.
Putnam Swimming Pool Service, Inc. will continue to provide pool and spa openings, repairs, and maintenance services for our customers.
For the foreseeable future, we are asking all communication between our in-field personnel and our customers be routed through our customer support center, either by email or phone. The first and primary method of contact should be email.
